• Our reporting of the power outage in Spain and Portugal (29 April, pp4-5) attributed to Redes Energéticas Nacionais a quote blaming the failure on a “rare atmospheric phenomenon”. However, the company was already on record saying it had not made that comment.
• An article referred to the polling firm Ipsos by its previous name, Ipsos Mori (UK economy forecast to slow for two years as confidence hits new low, 28 April, p27).
