Butterflies photograph | Quentin Tarantino

• It transpired that an image of monarch butterflies in Mexico (Flying high, 21 March, p36), taken in 2011 and supplied via the Alamy agency, had been digitally manipulated, resulting in cloned elements. This breached our guidelines on acceptable alterations to photographs. The image appeared in our print edition only.

• An article described Quentin Tarantino as an “Oscar-winning director”; to clarify, his two wins were for his screenplays, not his directing (Pulp Fiction preacher? Hegseth channels Tarantino, 17 April, p12).
