Anglo-German rail | Millstreet, County Cork

• Plans for an Anglo-German rail link do not include a direct train to Berlin, as an article said (Virgin Trains takes step closer to running service to Europe in blow to Eurostar, 18 August, p4)

• An article suggested that Harrogate was the smallest place to have hosted Eurovision; in fact, in 1993 the event was hosted in the Irish town of Millstreet, County Cork, current population 1,722 (Bulgarians baffled, 18 August, p3).
