• Paying off your student debt does not improve your credit score, as an article suggested. Student loans do not appear on credit reports and do not affect your credit score (‘I’m using my house deposit savings to pay off my postgrad loan’, 25 April, p49).

• Hanspeter Rees is the mayor of Hofsgrund in Germany, not Klaus Vosberg (Fatal schoolboy hike remembered 90 years on, 25 April, p33).
