Polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome | Tees transporter bridge

• The new name of polycystic ovary syndrome is polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome; we omitted the word “ovarian” (NHS urged to update website after PCOS name change, 19 May, p13, early editions).

• An article (Teesside bridge and Victorian disinfecting station join list of most endangered buildings, 28 April, p15) mistakenly featured an image of the Newport transporter bridge over the Usk in south Wales, rather than that over the Tees in north-east England. This error was in print only.
